LET'S TALK ABOUT BRAS

It's a love-hate relationship—one that every woman knows too well. We want to wear them, but the moment we step through the door, we can't wait to take them off. About a century ago, a revolution in women's fashion took place. Women freed themselves from restrictive corsets, embracing comfort over confinement. The first bra was born from two silk handkerchiefs tied with a pink ribbon, and the rest is history.

Today, I want to spark a new revolution—a call to break free from restrictive cages once again and embrace comfort as a priority.

I could talk about this bra all day long. Let me tell you, I wasn't a fan of bras for most of my life. But then peri-menopause hit, and suddenly, my boobs just weren't happy. No matter what bra I tried, nothing felt comfortable. 

As the designer, pattern maker, and production manager (amongst everything else) at Knickerhood, I decided to create a bra that’s not just pretty, but incredibly comfortable. Like our knickers, this bra is designed to adapt to the natural fluctuations of our bodies throughout the cycle. It’s the perfect blend of style, comfort, and practicality—because we all deserve a bra that feels as good as it looks.

I also wanted a bra that has no wiring, a bra I can sleep in (cause sometimes I need to), and a bra that will not make me look like I have monoboob.

I’m proud to say that I’ve succeeded in achieving that goal, creating my perfect bra.
